On Rotation Brewery & Kitchen was the next visit for Hoppy. They opened at their original location in 2015 and moved to their current location in 2021. Working with a three-barrel system, they produce an ever-changing lineup of craft beers and seltzers, along with featuring other local craft breweries and other exceptional beers on their 40-tap system.
Hoppy imbibed their following brews during his visit:
Thai Tea Golden Ale – Described as tricked up with additions of tea, sweet cinnamon, vanilla, orange zest, and star anise. Lactose brings in a smooth sweetness that pairs with the bready, malty body and gives the spice and citrus room to shine. 8% ABV, 17 IBU.
Jalapeño Saison – On Rotation’s signature saison, described as having a jalapeño nose giving way to a tortilla chip breadiness with a crisp, effervescent finish. The touch of pepper heat fades quickly providing the rich, full experience of a jalapeño pepper without a lingering burn. 7.8% ABV, 25 IBU.
