UNION BREWING CO. NEW DIGS – CARMEL

UNION BREWING CO. NEW DIGS – CARMEL

Due to the scheduled demolition of their previous building, Union Brewing was forced to relocate to a new location in Carmel. Their reopening at the new location on Gradle Drive took place on January 18th. Hoppy visited them today.

They are currently only serving beers on guest taps, most of which are from Short’s Brewing in Bellaire, Michigan. Union Brewing recipe beers, made for them by Short’s, will be available soon.

While visiting, Hoppy drank a Short’s Huma Lupa Licious Imperial IPA. It is described as being big in every way that it can be: big on bitterness, big on malt backbone, big on piney waves of citrus and wildflowers. It clocks in at 7.7% ABV; 70 IBU.
