Hoppy’s last visit on his Southwest tour was at Peticolas Brewing. It was founded in 2011 and was one of the first two breweries to open in Dallas. Founder Michael Peticolas is a lifelong FIFA World Cup fan and the brewery will be showing most of this year’s matches, including those in Dallas, in their taproom.
During his visit Hoppy quaffed a Sit Down Or I’ll Sit You Down Imperial IPA. The intent of this beer is to exhibit the fresh and bright character of the hops. The hop flavor is intense, fresh and lively. It is balanced with an ever-present malt character that provides a tremendously full mouthfeel.
