Two Breweries – Black Dog and Nigh Close to Opening

On May 1st, Black Dog Brewing in Mooresville began brewing their first flagship ale, Shelby Dog IPA. It is being brewed with Centennial, Chinook, Huell Melon and Amarillo hops with a light malt profile. It is described as lively, playful, and bold with hop flavor, but easy to drink more than one.

Nigh Brewing Co., in Plainfield, is taking over the old Black Swan Brewpub location. They will feature 18 taps of craft beer, a large selection of choice bourbon, and an inviting food menu. Their neighbor in Plainfield, Brew Link Brewing, is currently featuring five of Nigh’s brews on tap. These are:

•Sunshine Daydream- Blonde Ale
•Limelight- Key Lime Sour
•NighPA- American IPA
•Silken Sinister- American IPA
•Cordially Yours- Cherry Chocolate Cream Stout

Taxman Announces Carry-Out Hours & Reopening Plans

Taxman Brewing has announced carry-out hours for beer and food beginning today thru Sunday, at all of their locations, during the hours of 12PM-7PM. They will also give you a $1 credit towards your next purchase on all returned Taxman growlers.

They plan to re-commence dine-in service during normal business hours at Taxman Bargersville and Taxman Fortville on next Tuesday, May 12th.

450 North has announced 11 new cans to be released for pre-sale tomorrow 5/7 and release on Friday, 5/8. These are as follows: 1. Rainbow Popsicle Slushy XL, 2. Hawaiian Juice Slushy XL, 3. Dragon Fire Slushy XL, 4. Strawberry Shortcake Popsicle Slushy XL, 5. Duffel Bags DDH Double IPA, 6. Slushmallow Black & Blue Fluff, 7. Amethyst + Rubies Double Sour IPA, 8. Millions Slushy XXL 9. Platinum Nuggets Triple Dry Hopped Triple IPA, 10. Double Blackberry Jam , 11. Trillions Slushy XXL. All of those named Slushy are Smoothie Style Berliner Weisse.
