The World Beer Cup (WBC) 2025 awards ceremony took place at the Indiana Convention Center last evening, May 1st, in Indianapolis.
The competition included 8,375 entries in 112 beer style categories, resulting in 334 awards. (One gold and one bronze medal were not awarded.) 1,761 breweries and cideries competed for medals, representing 49 countries. More information can be found here.
Nine Indiana breweries won eleven medals at the competition. Their five gold medals were the most of any state in the Midwest. Indiana’s eleven total medals tied Ohio for tops in the Midwest.
