HOOSIER BREWERS RAKE IN NINE MORE MEDALS AT THE 2022 WORLD BEER CUP!
by Gary Dean
Indiana breweries took home nine medals at the 2022 World Beer Cup last week. The Hoosier State was the only state in the country, outside of California, that had two breweries that won at least three medals! This was accomplished by Metazoa and Sun King who each won three medals. The other Indiana medal winners were Moontown, Shoreline and ZwanzigZ. These breweries combined for a total of three gold, three silver and three bronze medals.
The World Beer Cup is organized by theย Brewers Association, the not-for-profit trade association dedicated toย small and independentย American brewers, their beers and the community of brewing enthusiasts.ย It has taken place on a biennial basis, with the exception of 2020, when it was canceled due to COVID-19.
