Nigh, Black Dog and Brew Link Breweries Visit

Nigh, Black Dog and Brew Link Breweries Visit

Now is the time for all good men, and women, to come to the aid of their brewery! With COVID-19, and many closures due to lack of business, it is especially important. This would also include newly opened breweries such as Nigh, in Plainfield, and Black Dog, in Mooresville, as well as Brew Link, in Plainfield, all of which I visited yesterday. Here are some pictures at Nigh, which opened on Monday, and has a full service patio.

On my last visit to Plainfield, Brew Link was in the process of moving to their new location at Oak Tree Golf Course. It was good to visit them at the new location. Here are some pictures at the brewpub.

Two Breweries – Black Dog and Nigh Close to Opening

On May 1st, Black Dog Brewing in Mooresville began brewing their first flagship ale, Shelby Dog IPA. It is being brewed with Centennial, Chinook, Huell Melon and Amarillo hops with a light malt profile. It is described as lively, playful, and bold with hop flavor, but easy to drink more than one.

Nigh Brewing Co., in Plainfield, is taking over the old Black Swan Brewpub location. They will feature 18 taps of craft beer, a large selection of choice bourbon, and an inviting food menu. Their neighbor in Plainfield, Brew Link Brewing, is currently featuring five of Nigh’s brews on tap. These are:

โ€ขSunshine Daydream- Blonde Ale
โ€ขLimelight- Key Lime Sour
โ€ขNighPA- American IPA
โ€ขSilken Sinister- American IPA
โ€ขCordially Yours- Cherry Chocolate Cream Stout

BeerblogIN will let you know when opening dates are released for both breweries.
